Peaceful time in Chelsea – Brompton Cemetery

You find Brompton Cemetery between Fulham Broadway and EarlĀ“s Court tube stations in Kensington. The cemetery is well worth visiting for the peaceful feeling and the history. The cemetery opened in 1840 and is one of seven large London cemeteries opened by private companies during the 19th century. Don’t forget the cemeteries if you like parks in London.

Neighbour to the big cemetery is Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea F.C.
