1. Clapham Common Tube
The station which opened in 1900 is on the Northern line. One of the entrances is a dome building dating from the 1920s. Just around the corner at Venn Street, you find the Clapham Picturehouse with all its pleasure.
2. Clapham Common
The Common Land was converted into parkland in 1878. Half of the park is in the Borough of Lambeth (Clapham) and the other half is within the Borough of Wandsworth (Battersea). Take a view as J.M.W Turner did.
3. Battersea Arts Centre (BAC)
BAC is situated on Lavender Hill. The name Lavender Hill refers to the cultivation of Lavender in the area back in time. The area was until the 1860´s mostly farmland. The BAC offers theatre, dance, music and a bar & café in the former Town Hall.
4. Clapham Junction
Check out one of the busiest train junctions in Europe. About 2000 trains pass the station every day. During the riots in 2011, the Daily Telegraph reported that Clapham Junction was like a warzone. Some old houses and places still stand, like the Chestnuts in Mossbury Road from 1812 and the Falcon pub in the corner.

5. The Nightingale
Time for a drink at the Nightingale, the sunny afternoon pub. Get down to Webb´s Road from Lavender Gardens and walk the calm residential area down to the NIghtingale. The slopes down to Wandsworth Common are beautiful and so is the outdoor seating at the pub.
6. Balham Bowls Club
A nice place for food and drinks, sit outside or inside. Balham tube station is just around the corner.
7. Balham Station
Balham station is two stations and from here you can catch the Northern line tube or a train to Victoria Station.
